How to add music to Instagram Reels?

Many people ask me how to add my music to Instagram Reels so that Instagram does not block the video. It's very simple, following the instructions below your video will not be blocked on Instagram.

All of my music is copyrighted around the world. I signed a contract with Worner Music Group and CDbaby. They control and manage my copyright on META (Facebook & Instagram) on my behalf. I have to protect my copyrights so that I, my music, all my clients, and all the people who use my music on META are safe.

Below is an instruction on how to upload reels so that Instagram does not delete or block your video.

Upload video to Instagram Reels section:

Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone and click (+) to add a new short video, then click 'Reel'.

Next, you need to select a short video (up to 90 seconds) from your gallery. Then you will need to add music from the Instagram catalog.

Adding Instagram Music to your Reel:

Once you've selected a short video, tap the (music note icon) at the top of the screen. Then the search page will open, you need to write in the search bar my artist name and the name of the track you want to add (for example: AShamaluevMusic - Winter).

Select the track you need from the list. Instagram will then ask you to choose when the music will start playing. Once you like the passage you've chosen, click the 'Done' at the top of the screen.

Music has been successfully added to the video. Now if you want you can add text or some special effects (optional). If you are satisfied with how the video with music looks, then click 'Next'.

Add a cover and description to your Reel:

A window will open where you will be prompted to add a description and cover for your video. To add a cover you need to click the 'Edit cover' button (optional). Next, you can attach a vertical photo from your gallery, to do this, click the blue button at the bottom of the screen that says 'Add from camera roll'.

After you have added the cover. You can write a short description and add some tags in your video description and you can also tag me (@ashamaluevmusic) in your videos if you want, it's optional (I sometimes watch these videos and give them hearts).

Once you have added the cover and description, click 'Share'. That's it, your video is published. Hooray!
